Following a six building search in the local market, this consolidation of two regional offices for URS/Woodward Clyde commenced as a build to suit office structure with the anchor occupancy by this tenant in one and a half floors of a three story structure developed by Liberty Partners.
Culminating a fifteen year history with the Woodward Clyde organization the project represents the twelfth assignment from WCC and included the negotiation of lease work letter terms for this turnkey lease agreement.
The design includes a serpentine wood and glass feature wall dividing lobby and conference core areas which terminates in executive, marketing and tech. lab areas of the plan. Stained and treated concrete floor with slate inserts occur throughout this space and are reflected as well in carpet accents and border treatments in the main board room. The wood wall also accommodates segmented flat screens as greeting and marketing information displays.
The project consists of executive, marketing, technical/engineering and administrative offices, training and lab facilities in 45,000 sf. The service offering from The Kimmerle Group included both Kimmerle Newman Architects and Workspace Inc. making this assignment another example of an integrated delivery platform of professional, project management and procurement services.
