George J. Kimmerle, AIA, PP, NCARB

A graduate of Washington University and the University of Michigan, Mr. Kimmerle has been practicing architecture and planning since 1976.

He has held various public and professional positions throughout his career and has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations.

Mr. Kimmerle maintains teaching posts at New York University and Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, where he is currently completing a dissertation in community imaging, urban branding and redevelopment techniques that emphasize the repositioning of communities from both economic and quality of life perspectives.

Other continuing education achievements include courses at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard and New York University.

In addition to numerous firm awards, Mr. Kimmerle has been honored by his professional peers throughout his career, beginning with AIA-New Jersey's Young Architect Award in 1985.

He has served as a commissioner of the State of New Jersey Tidelands Bureau and Officer and Chairman of AIA-New Jersey. His directorships have included Teen Pride of Morristown, Plainfield Heritage Associates, and Morris CC/Business and Education Foundation.

Mr. Kimmerle is a registered architect and planner in New Jersey and a registered architect and NCARB-certified in dozens of other states.





Paul A. Newman AIA

A graduate of the New Jersey School of Architecture at NJIT, has been practicing architecture since 1982 and in association with Mr. Kimmerle since 1985.

Mr. Newman has decades of experience in the commercial and non-profit architectural realm, and maintains a guest teaching affiliation at New York University. His continuing education efforts include courses at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard. He is a regular guest critic at his alma mater New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he is on the School of Architecture Dean's Council.

In addition to numerous firm awards, Mr. Newman is an active member of the New Jersey Sustainability Council and is LEED certified in green technologies and methods.

He is an active member of community based organizations including the NJ Sustainable Schools Network, NJHEPS (Higher Education Sustainability Council), and is a volunteer Ambulance EMT.

Mr. Newman is a registered architect in New Jersey.
