Involved Subsidiaries:The design of a state of the art full service radiology facility from scratch in a new building. At 12,000 sf, the space will include equipment for:
- MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) machines
- Catscan
- Mammography
- Bone Density
- Fluoroscopy
- Ultrasound
The facility was designed as a two part suite, one of which is state licensed, one of which is subject to local review. Careful though was given to centrally located equipment rooms, air conditioning systems and plumbing systems location and placement of equipment away from magnet, and thickened isolated slabs at heavy equipment locations in pre-building phase.
Affiliated with the Centra State Medical Hospital, this is the next in a series of facilities by this Doctor's group. Replacement of an existing magnet at another facility owned by this Doctor's group was also recently completed.
This is an example of the kind of complex medical project requiring very detailed research and coordination with multiple vendors, navigation through the state licensing and review process, and close interaction with contractors during construction that we excel at.
